24 Hour Tennis Marathon. Raising for ECTC & Cancer Research

Hi my name is Tom Littlewood,

I started playing tennis at the Age of 7 at my local tennis club - Earls Colne Tennis Club. I fell in love with the sport and regularly played for the club teams.

When I was 16, I joined the coaching team alongside David Birks, a coach who always put community and fun first. Unfortunately Dave was diagnosed with cancer and in 2018 he lost his battle. I have continued to run Tennislessons4u as head coach and build on his legacy.

Dave always wanted a new clubhouse built for the club, and in 2023 we were able to make this happen. He would love to see the club continue to grow, but we are in need of funds for new courts and floodlights (Costing near to £100k).

I would also like to donate 50% of the money to Cancer Research, who supported Dave in his journey, as well as many other close people I know who have been affected.

To raise this money, I will be playing tennis for 24 hours non-stop at ECTC! Adults and Children will take turns playing against me through the day and night.
