IVF for Baby Sandefur!

                Welcome to go fund me. Go fund me is a website that will ultimately make our dreams of having a family come true. This website allows us to accept donations to cover the unbelievable cost of IVF. Let me tell you a little about my husband and me. We met my senior year in high school. Our road has definitely not been the easiest. We are a real, very imperfect couple. We fight, we argue, but ultimately at the end of the day I wouldn't want anyone else standing beside me thru the tough and greatest times of my life. We have been together for 8 years. Dustin has a little boy who just turned six. Yes, this was a very trying time for us but we know Devin was brought into our life for a reason. God does not make mistakes and Devin is our world. That's why we hope that go fund me will help us reach our goal to extend our family and give us a child of our own and allow Devin to have a little brother or sister.

                Our Journey to conceive began in 2008; we sought one Dr who immediately began us on two different types of medications (clomid and metformin). Several months of this medicine and nothing at all! The Dr. never performed blood work, or tests to see if there was an issue. Within the few months Dustin and I realized this is not the Dr for us. So we began our search for another Dr. we began seeing Dr. Snidle at Jefferson Memorial and we immediately loved him! He began where we left off with our first Dr. Month after month raising the dose of Clomid. We had blood work monthly just to find out that I had not ovulated, or a negative blood test, no changes, and no progress. After a several months of clomid I had a laparoscopy done. We thought we had the answers! We were told that my fallopian tubes were blocked. I was relieved, now maybe we may get to begin our family! We had our medicine upped to the top dose of Clomid, with the warning of cyst could appear with this dosage. Didn't matter! We were willing to try anything to achieve our goal! We thought this was it! Yet again month after month, NOTHING but heartbreak over and over! Dr. Snidle unfortunately told us that we should begin to see an RE (reproductive endocrinologist) as there was nothing further he could do. As heart wrenching this was I couldn't accept that as the last step, so we went to a third OBGYN to hopefully get that he could help. He also ran blood work , test, and over past history that Dr. Snidle had done and agreed that there was nothing further he would be able to do either. Heart break set in again and we decided it was time for a break. After a couple months of research, tears, thinking about the next step, and waiting we sought the help of Sher Reproductive institute.  After meeting Dr. Dayal, I feel like my dreams are closer! I had a hysteroscopy (a hysteroscopy is a way for your doctor to look at the lining of your uterus.) done in May 2013, finding that I had polyps on my uterus, the polyps were huge, and ah we thought we found the next answer! We immediately began trying with no medications again! Still disappointment! We then knew we needed to try something else. We decided that timed intercourse was our next step. We began injections and each month of these just got worse. My hope quickly dwindled after the first month, Dustin was there holding me while I felt weak. He gives me the hope and strength to keep going.  I'm not sure what a miscarriage is like but I'm sure it's close to the the same feeling month after month when Aunt Flo arrives. Still no baby, which leads us to you for help! With lots of Faith for what God has in store for us, we are going to go to the next step which is micro IVF. With insurance not realizing that infertility is a disease, we have no coverage for this process! We are out of pocket for the procedure which cost approximately 7,000 dollars plus the cost of medications which is another 3,000. We want this dream more than anything; we want to fill the void in our hearts and home.  We are praying for any help that anyone can or wants to give.
