Grandpa Juan needs help!

I created this page to help Grandpa Juan. Juan has been battling stage 4 lung cancer for over a year now. He is 56 years old and is a grandpa to 12 beautiful grandkids. Juan has been married to Lucy for 39 years and has worked everyday till he had to start dialysis. While waiting for a new kidney, Juan had to stop working leaving Lucy to manage all their bills. She has been working 2 jobs since I've known her.
Good news came in the form of a kidney match for Juan, right before heading to the operating room, his Dr. wanted to do one last cat scan. The results were devastating, somehow the Dr's had all missed the cancer in his lungs. Since that moment the battle and the bills began. Even though the bills have piled up, Juan and Lucy have kept a positive attitude. Last month he had great results, the tumors were shrinking! It was a happy day getting that news.
This past Thursday Juan could not breath well, and was coughing up a lot of blood, at the hospital yet another cat scan was done, and they found a large tumor blocking his airways. He is breathing with 4 to 5 liters of oxygen a day and only 1 lung is working. He has to start radiation immediately. Radiation treatment is very costly, I am starting this page so that Juan and Lucy can both focus on his fight. They shouldn't have to worry about how they will pay the bills, and Lucy missing so much work to be there at his side.
Juan is not a blood grandpa to my 4 kids, however he is the best grandpa my kids have. He's never missed a game, recital, or school function. He has given them his heart and has always treated them as his own. We are blessed to have this family in our lives and to call them our family.
All money donated will go to ALL MEDICAL BILLS and cost of radiation/chemo treatments. If you can help at all, it would be tremendously appreciated. Help me help them. God Bless
