IGY6 for Tom Cobb

Extended hospital stays can get expensive for the family members. It becomes your new home without the conveniences; like cooking. The Cobbs are in that position, & transition isn't ever easy. Tom will be here for the foreseeable future & Angelle will be here by his side every day. The kids will be back & forth, and home is 4 hours away. Food, gas, & other essentials are going to get expensive quite quickly. Their families have noticed an overwhelming outpour of support for them. It has been impressive & heart-warming. We know that all of you would love to be here if you could, & your prayers have been greatly appreciated & needed. But if you can, your donation would go a long way as well. Please give what you can, every little bit counts. The money you donate will be directly deposited into their account, so there shouldn't be any unnecessary hoop jumping. On 21 March, Tom suffered a massive stroke. He is in critical, but stable condition. He is communicating non-verbally in response to questions or if he needs something. He is even answering cognitive questions correctly. He can recognize the people who have been to visit & loves to hold your hand so he can give you 1 squeeze for 'yes' & 2 for 'no'. He is as stubborn as a mule & strong as ever. Like always, he is fighting hard without slowing down. Angelle & the kids are standing strong, even through the exhaustion. They are truly the epitome strength & diligence. Someone will try to keep everyone updated; here, Facebook, or both.
