Erika Oquist and I have teamed up to reach a fundraising goal of $3,500, that will go towards Alzeimer's research and awareness. Both of our families have lived through the affects of this disease. In honor of our grandmother's we want to do our part to push for a better treatment and cure, and help future generations.
We have both joined the Young Champions Committee here in Chicago, supporting the Alzheimer's Assocation - Rita Hayworth Gala. This group brings young professionals together who are dedicated to raising awareness and funds to further the efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. The 27th annual Gala will be held on Saturday, May 10 at the Hilton Chicago.
OUR MISSION: To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
