#716 Race To Recovery, Helping Karl

Karl Guy, Guy Racing #716, was injured while watercross racing on Saturday, 7/8/17, at Flat Rock.    He was airlifted to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse with several broken ribs and injuries to his lung.    Karl had surgery yesterday to cauterize spots in his lung and insert a metal plate to help his ribs heal and to protect the lung.  He faces a long and painful recovery period. 
Karl's family has been by his side, and will be spending a lot of time in Syracuse in the foreseeable future.
