With Your Help, I WILL Fulfill my Dream

My name is Linda Mason.  I am a 61 year old custodian and novice writer with a background in Early Childhood Education. I need your support in raising funds to fulfill a life-long dream of publishing a series of children's books I am currently writing. Over the years, I have worked with children in various capacities, both in classroom and church settings.  I've developed a passion for touching their hearts in a way that produces positive change in their lives, thus, this book series was born.

 I was just informed that my current job will be outsourced starting possibly when my contract ends in June, and with the loss of this job, I lose my income and health benefits. Given these and other difficult circumstances, the publication of my book series could be delayed indefinitely, and time is something that is too precious to waste.  My dream is that these books provide a source of income that would help support me financially untill I can fully retire at age 66.

This multicultural series of short stories from A to Z is designed to touch the hearts of children dealing with various issues of life from a child's perspective.  They will be made available in English and Spanish. The 26 storybook project has already been accepted by Deep Sea Publishing, L.L.C. and I am currently working with them on the first two books.  Would you consider supporting the completion of this project which will cost approximately $30,000?  This estimated cost includes illustrating, translating, marketing, and publishing all 26 stories in both languages.
