***Services for David will be held on Sunday, March 24th from 1pm-5pm at the Fay McCabe Funeral Home on Moore St in Lowell, MA. If you have any further questions please contact either me or my mother Joyce Tymula-Roller.

My father passed away in our home March 17th around 12pm from a (unexpected) massive heart attack. He left this world with so much love. He survived a scary case of bacterial pneumonia back in 2004, and survived a terrible car accident in 2013. We know now he’s with our cousin Christopher, Aunt Dee, and his parents. We had a great meal the night before, he got out of work early (which was rare), he was PUMPED to cook steak on the grill for the first time this year! We laughed and joked around and everything seemed perfect that night at the dinner table. Little did we know that it would lead up to these traumatizing moments the next day. His sacrificed SO much to make sure we had everything we needed. He didn’t deserve to be taken from this world at such a young age, but we have to keep reminding ourselves that he won’t be in pain anymore. He suffered a neck injury when Jake and I were little and his body was not strong enough to do what he did everyday.
He is survived by his beloved wife Joyce, they would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this year, his son Jacob, his brother-in-law Marc LaPenta, his sister Suzanne Darcy, and me, his daughter Catherine. We just recently moved into a new house after losing the home my brother and I grew up in— so the past year or so has been crazy and dad never skipped a beat.
My father was always known for his hard work. He never complained about his job. He would never leave until his work was finished- even if it meant extending his day further or pushing himself to the point where his knees were close to buckling underneath him. He was always in so much pain but it didn’t stop him from going to work every.single.day 6/7 days a week- especially if it meant giving my family everything we needed.
He loved sports so much, and we’re so grateful that he got to watch the Patriots win the Super Bowl for the SIXTH time so we know he was taken from this world satisfied with our New England sports teams.
He loved our family SO much and there are SO many things that he did for us- He brought us to Disney world back in 2008 for Christmas for two weeks, he took my brother and I to our first Red Sox game, he taught me (Catherine) how to drive, he bonded with Jacob one-on-one at work, he married my mother who he loved SO much (they were together for 28 years), he taught us how to play soccer, softball, and baseball and he went to as many of our games as his work schedule would allow, he busted his ass to get us into the place we call home now, and we wish he was still here to enjoy this new place that we wouldn’t have been able to call home without him.

After all the tears my family and I have shed the last few days, we understand that Dad (David) is no longer in pain, and we accept that. But because I am now the only source of income we can’t afford to pay for my fathers final expenses. So ANYTHING will help.
I will post any news we have in regards to visiting hours.
The cost of his final expenses are at least $5600. Anything that you can offer will would be greatly appreciated.
