People to People Summer Experience

Hello family and dear friends-

Myles will be participating in a great program this summer as a People to People Student Ambassador.

The program is the "European Heritage" which consists of travelling to 7 different countries over 20 days. He will travel to United Kingdom, France, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and a home stay with a local family in Germany.

Here are just a few of the exciting events the program will offer:

·         Ride on an alpine roller coaster

·         Trace heroic footsteps along the beaches of Normandy,

·         Make friends with a German family during a home stay.

·         Meet with a member of British Parliament and

·         Go behind the scenes to explore European cathedrals and  mysterious castles.

The Ambassadors get to experience these magnificent countries in ways that will inspire their imagination, feed their curiosity, and give them a new perspective on this amazing part of the world.

The unique activities are geared towards building independence, maturity, global awareness and fostering a love of international travel.  The Ambassadors will also earn academic credit and will be a great experience to share on future college applications.

As the world becomes more global and interconnected with the vast modes of technology, it's a great opportunity to understand and appreciate the diversity of other countries and cultures. 

The total program cost is approximately $7,000 and we're asking for your support to raise approximately $3,000 to help make this trip a reality for Myles.
