The cadets of 706 Ottawa Snowy Owl Air Cadet Squadron will be doing a Hike-a-Thon Fundraiser on Saturday October 14th and are seeking your support.
For more than 50 years, 706 Squadron has provided leadership, survival, fitness, and of course aviation activities for area youth. The air cadet program, a partnership between the Air Cadet League of Canada and the Department of National Defence prepares today’s youth to be the leaders of tomorrow. While National Defence provides funding for the core training program, the remainder of the costs, for activities, facilities and equipment are offset by fundraising.
As part of their upcoming Fall Field Training Exercise, altogether the cadets will be hiking a cumulative 706 km. Support your favourite cadet and make a donation to help keep our squadron On the Move! Charitable tax receipts are available, upon request, for donations totalling 10$ or more.
Should you prefer not to make an online payment, you can make a donation by cash or cheque by contacting your cadet and completing the pledge form. Cheques are to be made out to the ‘706 Ottawa Snowy Owl Air Cadet Squadron’.

**Each cadet is being asked to raise 76$, whether through the online campaign or collecting donations using the pledge form, which will be entered as offline donations.
