Tamarac Cougars 95lbs Team

It's that time again !!! As all my friends and family know last year this Cougar team was ONE game away from the Super Bowl!!! 95% of these kids have played together going on there 5th season! They started together ages 4 & 5 yrs old, in there first season together in Mighty Mights they went 0-10, the second season in Mighty Mights went 9-1 winning there Super Bowl in that divison, the following year they moved to Peewee's going 7-3 and getting knocked out in the 1st round, last year their final year in Peewee's divison they went 9-2 before taking a loss in the game before the Super Bowl. There wasnt a dry eye after the game, including some parents, not because they lost but because the their season was OVER! Many times I have looked at these kids running and doing drills 2 hours a day Monday thru Friday and a 2 hour game on Saturday and thought to myself "Wow such hard work, how do they find fun in this", thats when you realize its the trust they found for one another, the camaraderie they share! Youth Sports is more then just about winning and losing its about building a brotherhood with one another, after 5 years playing together these kids no longer look at the kid next to him as a teammate, it's his BROTHER.

As most know that have kids of their own or played sports themselves there is nothing cheap about it. With the success of the donation page last year we decided to do it again, last year donations went towards food/drinks at half time and after each and every game, and the after season party for our team.

We are NOT looking to hit a home run donation from one person but rather a little from a lot of people. I.E. I have over 500 facebook friends my self if evryone just donated as little as $5.00 we would more then reach our goal!!! Every dollar is appreciated, there is no such thing as a donation to small. Please if you can donate ANYTHING it would be a huge plus and benefit for these kids, the donations go towards anything we need to get these hard working little guys everything they need to have fun, suceed and be safe.
