Save the Sanctuary — The Tax Deed Process Has Begun

Donation protected
700 Lanterns to protect 17 acres of healing, home, and hope.

On November 21, 2025, the tax buyers gained the legal right to begin the tax deed process for my home and Sanctuary — the spiritual center of Zero Point Eclectic (ZPE) and the Quantum Fusion Fellowship of Compassion (QFFC).

While the final redemption deadline is May 20, 2026, the petition process can now begin, and every month that passes adds new interest, new penalties, and new legal fees, making redemption more difficult and more expensive.

I’m working to redeem the taxes long before the deadline — not only to prevent additional charges but also to bring relief from the chronic fear that has weighed on me for the past year.

To secure the Sanctuary, I need to raise $70,000.
This will redeem the taxes, protect the land, and preserve the home where my life’s work takes root.

To do this, I’m inviting 700 people to light a lantern.

✨ 700 Lanterns · One Shared Light

  • Kindler — $25
  • Keeper — $50
  • Lantern — $100
  • Torchbearer — $250
  • Hearth Fire — $500+

Every lantern lit moves us closer to stability, safety, and the redemption of the Sanctuary — the place that has held grief, healing, transformation, and community for three decades.

If my work, words, presence, kindness, coaching, meals, care, or compassion have ever mattered to you,
I’m asking you to help protect the ground that made all of it possible.

Let’s redeem the land.
Let’s resolve this fear.
Let’s keep Love’s fire burning.

✨ The Heart of It
Hi, I’m Reverend Gin Bishop — though most folks just call me Coach Gin.
For more than 30 years, I’ve served McHenry County as a coach, mother, teacher, counselor, and now Soul Doula. My work has always centered on helping people remember their own light — whether on the soccer field, around the kitchen table, in grief circles, through counseling sessions, or, now, through QFFC and Zero Point Eclectic.

After my husband passed away, I raised four children alone and kept showing up for others — often quietly, often with whatever little I had. I supported families, fed kids who weren’t mine, kept cleats on feet and lights on in homes, and offered emotional and spiritual support wherever it was needed.

Helping others kept me going during some of the hardest years of my life. It also meant I often put everyone else first.

The Sanctuary — my home and the land surrounding it — is the physical center of this lifetime of work. It is where QFFC was born, where the podcast took shape, where the healing work deepened, and where my own life rebuilt itself piece by piece.

This land has held my grief, my family, my community, and my purpose.
Losing it would mean losing the foundation of everything I’ve spent my life creating.

✨ The Sanctuary Story

After my husband Mike passed away, life collapsed in ways I didn’t have language for.
I was suddenly a widow, a single mother of four, and a woman who had spent years being strong for everyone except herself — pouring everything I had into my family, friends, and community because compassion had become my only coping mechanism.

There came a point when I wasn’t sure I could keep going.
Not spiritually.
Not emotionally.
Not financially.
Not as a mother, not as a human being, not as a soul.

And in that season when nothing else could reach me — not therapy, not prayer, not time — the land did.

These 17 wooded acres became the one place in the world that asked nothing of me.
I drew my children close and tucked us into the quiet refuge of its abundant splendor, letting the earth hold what I no longer could.

Then came Āvee — my resurrection child — a living reminder that joy can return even when you’ve stopped believing in it.
Later, Bear arrived like a companion sent by something larger, a protector for the parts of me still trying to find my way back.

I walked the same paths every day in a fog of grief, and the land met me exactly as I was.
And slowly — step by step, breath by breath — the Sanctuary put me back together.

The cranes, the deer, the pond basin, Threshold Bend, the wind in the trees…
they healed parts of me no human ever could.

This land held my grief.
This land helped raise my children.
This land gave me back my life, my purpose, and eventually my mission.

This is why I’m fighting to save it.
Not because it’s property —
but because it’s the place that healed me
when nothing else could.

Why It Matters
The only threat to the Sanctuary is property taxes — not a mortgage, not a bank, not debt. The properties are paid off and free of liens.

The total amount necessary to redeem the taxes is:
$70,000

Redeeming now protects:

  • my home
  • the Sanctuary’s land
  • the affordable rental home supporting a local family
  • the future of QFFC
  • the work I’ve been building for decades
  • the animals
  • the walking paths, Threshold Bend, and every inch of healing soil on this land

I’m not asking for charity.
I’m asking for a community effort to protect a place that has held countless people over the years — often quietly and without recognition.

✨ What Your Support Does

Every donation goes directly toward:

  • redeeming the taxes before interest or fees grow
  • stopping the tax deed process before it gains momentum
  • stabilizing the Sanctuary so the work can continue
  • preserving the land and home where QFFC, ZPE, and RCML are rooted

This is not about funding a lifestyle.
It’s about saving a home and a mission.

✨ 700 Lanterns: A Vision for Shared Light

I’m inviting 700 people to light a lantern and help save this Sanctuary — the home where so many healing journeys have begun.

  • Kindler – $25
  • Keeper – $50
  • Lantern – $100
  • Torchbearer – $250
  • Hearth Fire – $500+

Every lantern is an act of faith.
Every lantern carries Love’s fire.
Every lantern protects this land and all who gather here.

✨ Luminous Honesty

I have spent a lifetime giving — not strategically, but instinctively and wholeheartedly.
Meals, rides, mentorship, emotional labor, babysitting, bill-paying, holding space, showing up — quietly, consistently, lovingly.

This campaign is not about pity.
It’s not about being saved.
It’s about balance finally returning.

It’s about the community helping carry the flame I’ve carried for others.

If any part of my work — in person, online, through the podcast, through QFFC, through parenting your children, cooking for your families, or simply being present for you — has ever touched your life,
I ask you to light a lantern now.

Let’s keep the Sanctuary standing.
Let’s protect this place where compassion, consciousness, and community can continue to grow.
Let’s keep Love alive on Earth.

✨ Transparency & Giving FAQ

Is QFFC a nonprofit?
QFFC is incorporated in Illinois and has filed for 501(c)(3) status. Approval is pending due to national backlogs. Until confirmed, funds are received through Zero Point Eclectic LLC (ZPE) and restricted entirely to the Sanctuary Fund.

How will donations be used?
  • Redeem property taxes
  • Preserve the Sanctuary
  • Support both properties
  • Keep operations stable
  • Restore the land and prepare it for community use

Are donations tax deductible?
Not yet. Once nonprofit status is approved, future donations will be.

Can I help in other ways?
Absolutely. Sharing the campaign, praying for it, speaking it into rooms I may never enter — all of it is generosity.

✨ The Invitation

If you’ve ever been touched by my words, my work, or my presence —
if you’ve ever felt seen, supported, or held —
I’m asking you to light a lantern and help keep the Sanctuary alive.

Together we can redeem this land.
Together we can protect this home.
Together we can prove that compassion still has power.

The Sanctuary stands because we do.
With love,
Rev. Gin Bishop
