70 Years Washed Away

We are fundraising for our parents Lou and Leona who were victims of yesterdays' tropical storm Henri here in New Jersey.

Their home was overcome by the devastating waters destroying all of their belongings including, both of their cars, furniture, clothing and irreplaceable items such as photographs and 70 years worth of family memories. The waters came in so quickly they had to be removed by emergency rescue personnel via boat and could only take what they could carry.

They have been displaced from their home and are staying with family until the long process of insurance claims can be completed. We have no idea when that will be due to the magnitude of the storm and the countless other families affected by this storm in our area.

Our parents have been so giving over the years, touching so many people's lives with their generosity. While we can never truly thank them, this is our opportunity to help them during this stressful time to help them start to rebuild. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
