Life-Saving Kidney Transplant for Modak

Our seven year old son, Modak is in need of a kidney transplant. His kidneys are functioning at 6.5%.
He was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome (FSGS) in 2018 (CKD Stage 2). As of three weeks ago (Oct 02, 2020), Modak’s doctor advised us that his condition is now Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 5 (end-stage renal disease) and he needs to go for dialysis. Kidney dialysis is 3x per week for 3-4 hours. This is too much for a kid to go through. He should be spending time with his friends and family, enjoying life and his toys.
My second grader dreams of skydiving one day after his kidney transplant. Please help him reach his dream. He desperately needs his angel, his kidney donor and support.
Modak is on the NYU Langone ACTIVE kidney recipient list. The wait for a deceased kidney donor is 3 to 5 years.
