Okay as some of you know I am headed to Africa this Sunday May 28th! I will be a Volunteer in Kenya with the company "International Volunteer HQ" My project begins June 1st and will last until July 15th.
What will I be doing?
I will work alongside local teachers with the objective of promoting greater literacy, supporting opportunities for higher education, building vocational skills and enhancing career prospects among students. It is safe to say I am beyond stoked about this opportunity!
My #1 goal for this GoFuneMe account is to provide an experience for the kids they will never forget. A few examples of what this GoFundMe will go towards schools supplies/new school uniforms, soccer gear, balls, cleats etc.
Anyone that can help out is very much appreciated! I will have hundreds of pictures and stories to share during my stay in Mombasa!
