Cynthia was born with tuberous sclerosis (TSC). TSC is a rare multi-system genetic disease that causes benign rumors to grow in the brain as well as other vital organs such as the heart, lungs, kidneys, eyes and skin. It normall affects the central nervous system and causes a combination of symptoms including seizures, developmental delays, behavioral problems, skin abnormalities and kidney disease. There is no cure for TSC.
Cynthia is a bright, happy sixth grader who loves to ski. She would benefit greatly from the aid of a service dog, however the $35,000 to purchase one is far from the reach of her family. On March 21&22 king pine resort and ski area is hosting a 24 hour ski a thon to raise $35000 for Cynthia's service dog.
Please help sponsor our five person team. We are hoping to raise $500 by March 17.
We have met our goal on March 8 and now are going to try to double it. Thank you all who have help.
