Hello there!
I'm not sure how to get this party started, so I'll just jump into it. My name is Rebekah Benham, I'm 21 years old, and my passion is for karate. I love all aspects of karate, teaching, training, and the never ending amount of learning that comes with it. It has completely shaped who I am today. I am a full time student, and teach and train 6 days a week at Carolina Karate and Fitness Center under Sensei Tommy Hood 6 days a week.
Recently, I won second place for the -68kg weight division on the USA 2014 Sr. National Team in Chicago. This is a very big accomplishment for me both personally and in karate. With this new position, I have been given the opportunity to represent the United States in Vancouver as well as in Venezuela. The USA Karate Federation does not pay for the second seat on the team, so both of these huge trips will come out of pocket for me. It is my dream to be able to travel the world doing what I love, but the only way I will able to accomplish that is with the support of my friends and family. I am asking for your help. I cannot do this without you. Every little donation will be a huge step in helping me accomplish my dream, and is greaty appreciateld. Thank you for your well wishes and donations!!
