Medical Mission in Honduras

I'm off to Honduras to volunteer at Clinica Esperanza for a month. Clinica Esperanza is a not-for-profit clinic established for the underserved of the Bay Islands of Honduras. The clinic sees over 1000 patients/month with 60% being children. The clinic relies on +150 volunteers every year in order to be successful. Clinica Esperanza was established in a resource poor environment and serves to provide health care and education in an area where modern medicine is unavailable. At the clinic I will assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with varying conditions. I am seeking donations so that I may purchase medications and supplies to take to the clinic and to help cover part of the cost associated with volunteering at an unpaid position for a month.
