This is Alexander Holmes. He is 20 years old and is fighting for his life after suffering a gun shot wound to the chest. He is currently in the ICU fighting an infection and struggling to recover the function of his right lung.

He has a long road of recovery ahead of him after he leaves the ICU. He has been intubated and sedated for over a week so rehab is going to be an important part of recovery.

The family is asking for support for both him and his mother. It's been almost two weeks and she will not leave his side. THe support for him will come from his mother being beside of him. The support for his mother can come through, prayer, emotional support, and financial help. She will not be working during his recovery and will need to be able to stay in Miami where he is stationed and in the hospital.

We are asking for assistance to enable her to do this so that he will remain calm and hopeful in her presence. Thank you in advance for stopping by his page!
