Hello Everyone,
The picture you see above is my mother who is currently living in a homeless shelter in Tallahassee, Fl. She has been homeless off and on for the past ten years and can no longer work due to her health conditions. Unfortunately, lately her health has declined a significant amount. I have seen my mom twice in the past 8 years, and we write to each other as much as we can depending on living situations.
My name is Frank, and I am 22 years old. I currently reside just outside of Boston. Currently, I'm working 40+ hours per week, and I attend a community college full time. Paying for bills, school, living expenses and helping my mother is almost impossible to do with my current salary.
At a young age, my little brother and I became wards of the state and my mom has been on her own ever since. No matter the outcome, my mom tried as hard as she possibly could and I love that woman for that. I was with her throughout her struggles, and I've seen the pain in her heart. People don't live forever and I personally know with my mother's health issues and living issues, she won't be here as long as I could wish. For the time she is with me, I want to live knowing I tried my best to help her. I would like to raise just enough for my brother and I to go to Florida and visit her, and to show her the best few days of her life.
I'm doing what I can to make this trip happen. I am grateful for any additional help you can give.
