Paxson's Memorial

I'm creating this fundraiser to help with the upcoming expenses my boyfriend and I will face. In early May, our landlord informed us that she sold our house. Around the same time my doctor told us we would have to be housed in Little Rock to be monitored for the last few weeks of my pregnancy. We had to rush to figure out what to do. We decided it would be best to put all of our things into storage until we returned from Little Rock. With the help of our amazing friends we got everything moved and had a place to stay until the 24th, the day we had to temporarily move to Little Rock. We knew our boy would be born with some type of skeletal dysplasia and that there was a good possibility his condition would be fatal and we would not be bringing him home. We prepared for the worst and hoped for the best. Our tough little man made it past birth, with the help of a ventilator. We are at the point in this journey where it is our desicion when to take it out for good. We have tried and explored every option we could. His lungs are just too small. He's been such a blessing. We have decided to extubate him for the final time this Friday. He will receive comfort care until he passes. Our bosses have been so wonderful and understanding, they both agreed that we would be able to return to work when we are ready. When we return home, we will be responsible for his memorial costs, as well as trying to get ourselves back on our feet. Having no income coming in for the last month, having to move, and unexpected expenses while down here has run us dry. The past few months have really humbled us. It seems like we take one step forward just to be knocked back five more. I'm creating this fundraiser to help with his memorial costs, moving expenses, deposits for a new place, food, as well as regular month to month bills.
