Real Faces of Hurricane Harvey

Hi everyone!

I'm seeking help for 5 families is the Houston area that I know personally.  These are great people that I've met through friends, school or church.  Each one of these families have lost everything, but their lives and a few clothes.  Read a little about each family and please consider helping.  All funds will go directly to them and Go Fund Me (they must get their cut):

The Harris Family:
Dujuan, Candice, Carson, Caleb, and Clarke
This family is one of my best friend’s sisters.  I met them at kids’ birthday parties and events.  Both Dejaun and Candice were laid off last year and had just returned to work this summer.  Candice had just started her new job last Monday. Carson loves Iron Man, Caleb loves Paw Patrol and Clarke is just 19 months old.  They are in a shelter right now because they can't get to family right now.

The Davis Family:
Jennifer and Adrianna
I met sweet Jennifer through small group at our church. She was very faithful and always willing to lift up others in prayer. She is a hardworking single mother who is doing all of the parental lifting.  She'd just moved in her apartment 7 months ago.  I know that she had saved up to move in there.  Everything Jennifer does is for Adrianna.  Adrianna is a sweet kid that loves to have fun!   They are currently staying with her Mom.

The Neely Family:
Daren, Ashley, Hudson, Max, and Reese
I met this family at church Daren is a pastor there, he's super funny and very effective. Ashley leads worship, she has a beautiful voice.  Ashley and I taught a bible study together.  She is genuine, selfless, funny and still smiling during this time.  Their boys enjoy basketball and skate boarding; Reese enjoys girly girl stuff.  They are staying with friends now.

The Barnhart Family:
Michael, Amy, Joel and Samuel
Amy and I met at bible study, we both were bible study teachers.  She has a super big heart and loves all well.  She is forgiving, caring and is one of the best Mom's out there.  She loves her family and church.  She is currently taking care of her 87-year-old Mom, whom she was about to move to an independent living apartment before the storm.  They are staying with Amy's best friend right now.  

The Kruger Family
Todd, Amie, Delanie, and Christian
I met this sweet family at the kids’ school.  Amie is always wearing a smile, its contagious. She was always happy to see me, I later noticed that everyone received this warm greeting. Todd is hilarious, he and Amie exude love for one another, it's the cutest thing to see. They've been married for 14 years (well their anniversary is in a few days). Delanie and Christian are the some of the most respectful kids I've met.  They are in a hotel right now and don't know what's next. Todd is currently in a boat helping others get to safety.

These families are taking it moment by moment. They don't know how they will do it.  Join me in helping them.  In the past, I've sent money to other donations campaigns but never knew who it was helping.  You have the opportunity to know exactly who you're helping.  My goal is to give each family $500-$1000 bucks or more!  Whatever is raised I will divide the funds evenly.  Go to my Facebook page to see them!
