Support For Dale’s Girls

On Tuesday the 26th of February, Dale Ashton, Dad to Ruby (5 yrs), Hallie (3 yrs) and husband to Sarah, tragically passed away due to injuries sustained in a boating accident whilst qualifying for the World Ski Racing Championship in South Australia.
Dale was an incredible friend to so many people. In the days since his passing, the outreach of support, the words & memories being shared and the grief felt, are a testament to the remarkable person he was and the everlasting mark he will leave on our hearts.
Dale absolutely adored his three girls and they have been his proudest achievements in life. He talked so adoringly of ‘my wife, Sarah’ and never missed being a part of, and celebrating, Ruby’s and Hallie’s achievements and milestones. From getting them up on their first ski’s, first days of daycare and school, holidays together and quality time at home. He was a family man and appreciated the time he was able to spend with his family and extended family, who he also considered great friends.
Dale spent many years within the ski racing community. He took his responsibility looking out for other people’s children and families so seriously. He took pride in knowing that what he was doing was part of ensuring their safety when participating in ski racing. Now it’s our turn to help out his family. Every donation made to his girls will ensure his children’s and wife’s future financial needs are more secure and help the girls through such an incredibly difficult journey ahead.
