Car Accident Expenses

Donation protected
We’re trying to raise money for my little sister, Kasey, 20 years old.  On January 12, 2018 she was in a severe car accident that has created a lot of medical attention. We will continue updating this as we get information but ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated for our entire family.

Kasey has a beautiful 5 month of baby boy, Brantley, and an amazing boyfriend, Austin, who is doing everything he can for her during this hard time.

Story & Update 1:
She is stable and Dr.’s are optimistic she will make a full recovery. However, she broke her C2 vertibrea aka: the hangmans break and chipped a piece of her right hip bone. She was alert, talking to the paramedics & able to move all extremities however started to aspirate and panic so they put her in a medically induced coma to keep her still, comfortable, relaxed & asleep. Since the accident she has been airvaced to Portland where Dr.’s will decide if surgery is needed or just a neck brace while it heals. A orthopaedic surgeon will make a decision regarding her hip if surgery is necessary or not.

UPDATE:
Jan 14, 2018.
Kasey has suffered a severe torn knee ligament, a fractured hip and a broken neck. She was in a medicated induced coma due to her aspirating and to prevent further neck damage. Today, January 14, we learned she will be in a Halo neck brace for about 3 months. She will need tons of physical therapy for all 3 injuries. It is a blessing that she is alive, she does not have brain damage and she is not paralyzed.

Please donate to this amazing family. This accident has caused a huge financial strain and every little bit will help them recover!

Thank you for your donations, support, prayers & thoughts.

UPDATE:
January 15th.
Kasey's doing much better. She is expected to leave the ICU tomorrow and move to the acute recovery area. She is in a special Hospital chair to help her blood flow to prevent blood clots in the legs and pneumonia. She still experiencing a lot of pain between level 6 to 8 unfortunately the pain will not be completely gone at any point because of the severity of injuries. She's still on the feeding tube until she is able to eat. She's now on oxygen to help her breathe better. Thank you everyone for your support and donations! The help, prayers and thoughts are definitely helping Kasey and the family during this hard time!

UPDATE:
January 16, 2018.
X-ray done today which confirmed her right thumb is fractured. Had an MRI done on her left knee before having the brace added. It’s so far confirmed as a broken neck, hip, knee, foot, and thumb. She is getting her off all machines today. Working on some movement since having the Halo neck brace! Progress is good!
