Kerri's Destiny

Kerri Elliot is an honest, kind-hearted, hard-working woman who is self-employed as a house cleaner and is raising her nine-year-old granddaughter, Destiny. Unfortunately, she has just been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. It has spread to the bones in her hip area requiring surgery and the use of a walker as well as follow-up radiation treatments.

Needless to say, this makes it impossible to do her normal job causing her a great deal of stress about how to provide the basics such as pay rent, buy food, clothing and many (uncovered) medical expenses.

Naturally, when you are living week-to-week based on the physical labor you provide, becoming unable to work creates an urgent situation immediately. 

Kerri has always been willing to help anyone in need, especially the elderly and infirm, and now finds herself in dire need.
