Lydia's Medical Mystery Expenses Fund

My friend Lydia Buschenfeldt has been a medical mystery since 2011.  In a nutshell, her brain stopped sending signals to vital organs and those organs stopped functioning properly, or have become paralyzed.  She has visited the Mayo Clinic several times, enduring invasive testing and taking her away from her husband and friends for weeks at a time.  Lydia has undergone so many different treatments I've lost track! 

Throughout this mysterious medical journey, where many with deteriorating health would give up hope, she has accomplished the complete opposite.  She has not only persevered and found joy, but everyone around her is touched, impressed and humbled by her continuous positivity surrounding her circumstances.  She has cataloged her experience through her blog titled, Restarting My Hard Drive, where she writes with humor, grace, humility and strength.  

Those who know Lydia, feel blessed to have her in their lives and see her as a person with a beautiful soul.   After nearly 5 years of tests, treatments, new foods and a lot of adjustment, Lydia still doesn't have all the answers or a clear way to regain her health.  I am hoping that together, those of us who love her like I do or those who feel inspired by her story, can raise money to alleviate the financial stresses of this medical journey both past, present and future.  I can't fix her, but I can share her story and hope that it inspires generosity!
