Guys!!! A friend of mine, who I graduated with, just received some pretty horrific news.
“Many of you heard and have reached out. I thought I’d hop on here to give an update on Wyatt, rather than responding to each individual.
Vomiting started in August, headaches started in September, and it all coincided with school so we safely assumed it was his anxiety. A few weeks ago he suddenly started having problems with his vision, got very clumsy, and his headaches and vomiting got more severe. Yesterday morning Wyatt had a sedated MRI in and we found out he has a large tumor up against his brain stem and fluid built up in his brain. Wyatt and I were life flighted to Primary Children’s Hospital in Utah. Wyatt is currently finishing up another sedated MRI to check his spine for spreading and will be going straight to the OR afterwards to remove the tumor and to put a drain tube in. He has a very long and difficult day and road ahead. We all do.
A huge thank you my Grandpa Gene and Pam for immediately driving down to Utah to be with us. And also to Jace and Lilly who spoiled Wyatt yesterday and were my saving grace! We’re also feeling incredibly grateful that my mom now lives near us and is able to stay with the other two kiddos while we take care of Wyatt ❤️
It’s been an extremely overwhelming, hard, scary, and exhausting 24 hours and we still have so much to endure. Sorry if I don’t respond to all texts/posts/comments/calls. Most updates will be through the grape vine or posted on here.
Keep them prayers coming ❤️ And thank you!”
i kind of just threw a number out there, to raise, but literally anything can do. She’s had to travel to Utah, as you can read, and travels AND medical bills are no fun. I figured we could try and build a secret army and eventually relieve her from some bills that they will be thrown into. Like she said, wyatt has a long road ahead. It’s the holidays, guys.. this is no fun for ANY PARENT.
Lets make some magic happen?? Some blessings are due for this amazing little family, and mister Wyatt. ❤️
ANYTHING is enough.
