Woodland Cemetery Volunteers Tool Fund
Woodland Cemetery, located in Sebree’s Addition in East Highland Park, is the final resting place for many of Richmond’s notable African Americans, including Arthur Ashe, John Jasper, and Dr. Zenobia Gilpin.
Woodland Cemetery Volunteers is a small group of people with an interest in restoring and preserving the cemetery. We battle the vines, brush, and grass every week.
Thanks to our donors, we have a solid supply of hand tools and several power tools. We would like to expand our collection to include a secure tool storage container, string trimmers, a second push mower, and several additional pairs of loppers.
Any donation, no matter how small, would make a big difference. Thank you!
