Paul's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Friends have suggested that we start a go fund me page to help assist with Paul's medical expenses so that is what I am doing.
On March 17, 2017, Paul went to work like any normal day and came home complaining that he had a really bad headache episode at work that blurred his vision and had just had another episode when he pulled into our driveway when he got home. Since we were supposed to leave the next day for vacation, I suggested we get him checked out before we got on the road traveling. After a quick trip to Urgent Treatment and a referral to the Emergency Room and having a ct scan and a MRI, we were told that Paul had a mass in his right temporal lobe and would need to have surgery to remove it.
On March 21, 2017, Paul had brain surgery on his right temporal lobe and the brain tumor was completely removed. However, once pathology reports came in, it was discovered that Paul's brain tumor was a glioblastoma stage 4. Now, Paul has to undergo radiation tratments and chemotherapy. We have been told the the tumor is likely to come back since it is an aggressive type tumor.
Our doctor's are in the process of trying to get us referred to Duke University where they are working with patients with Paul's type of tumor and are on the cutting edge with some new treatments they are trying in clincal trials. We are praying Paul qualifies for one of these clinical trials.
If you feel led to make a donation towards Paul's medical expenses, we would be so truly thankful. But most importantly, we would love for all of you to keep our family in your prayers. Please pray for complete healing for my husband.
I love my husband dearly. He is my everything. Our little five year old daughter, Ashley, loves and adores her Daddy.
With much love and many blessings to you all!
Sharon, Paul and Ashley
