eris: Alcohol Level Detection Bracelet

Donation protected
We are a group of 14 students at an Early College High School that are inventing an unique bracelet that detects blood alcohol content (BAC) levels. The user will easily be able to see whether their BAC is above, at, or below the legal limit. We have put in long hours and much effort to bring our idea to life.

This is possible through the Lemelson-MIT Program's InvenTeamsâ„¢ initiative. The SOAR High School InvenTeam received a grant in October 2013 so that we could conceptualize, design, and build a prototype for the invention and present it at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts in June 2014. This will be part of the Lemelson-MIT Program's EurekaFest, a multi-day celebration of invention. Help us get to MIT as we seek to raise $15,000 to pay for travel and board costs. We have until the end of April to raise all of our money so that we can buy plane tickets in May.

All donations are greatly appreciated! If you would like your donation to be tax deductible, please send a check directly to SOAR High School in Lancaster, CA. For more information, please send an email through the website.

May we all continue to advocate and strive for the safety of our family and friends!
