A Trip of a Lifetime

Brent was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in December 2012.   He finished his last chemo treatment in August 2013 and was given the news that he was cancer free.  In January 2014 Brent visited with his oncologist and found out that despite his previous results, it was determined that the cancer was still there and had metastasized.   The doctors have told Brent that they do not currently have any other options and he has 2-5 years to live.  Brent is hoping to be accepted into a trial program that may offer a new option, but this is not guaranteed at this time and may just extend his time a short while.

Brent and his wife Tracy have been married for 8 years and have two kids, Hayden (7) and Aislinn (5).

Brent  is a tattoo artist at Ink Inertia and when he found out about the cancer, the friends and extended family at his shop showed their support by growing their beards with him and showing their “Beard Power”.  Brent and Tracy have been so positive and uplifting during this difficult time in their lives and we all admire how they have been able to make it through so far.


Tattooing means the world to Brent. I know Brent is going to try to work as much as he can. However I do know that Medical bills are taking up any money that they have.  It is our goal to be able to give their family a vacation of a lifetime before Brent is too sick to be able to travel.  Please help us show our love and support for their family by donating anything that you can today.
