On January 16 Scott underwent the surgery. Complications arose and he was in a coma and on a ventilator for 17 days. They thought he was on the road to recovery and was moved to a private room. One and a half days later his breathing became labored and he was rushed back to ICU. In ICU they found that he had an infection in his lung and upon further investigations and testing found that the infection had spread to his incision and from there into his bloodstream. He remains in ICU fighting for his life. He and his family live in Georgia and he is a native of Athens. His wife and daughter feel that is neccesarry for them to stay by his side. They are currently staying in an extended stay motel but funds have run out. Their room is only covered through Friday Febraury 21 and they are in need of any financial assistance that can be offered to them. We want to thank you in advance for any help that you feel lead to give. This is a vital part of his journey towards his heart transplant. Thank you in advance, may God bless you!!
