Kai's Top Surgery Fund

My name is Kai, and I am seeking to have a double mastectomy or periareolar, better known as top surgery. I'm 23 and have been struggling with being transgender for as long as I could remember, or even really knew that these feelings were a thing.

Growing up, I always wanted to be 'the boy', I always got angry and upset when ever I would have to be dressed as a girl. As I got older I thought maybe I was just 'being a girl wrong', as if that is a thing. I knew nothing about gender identity disorders, but I did know that women could get double mastectomies and I wanted that. A year into high school I discovered that there are other people who feel the same way, and that this is a 'real' thing.

I've gone through a year and half of gender therapy, and have been on hormone reassignment therapy for 21 months (Hot damn!) I've come such a long way and I feel as if this one thing is really holding me back. I just want to feel normal. My final goal is to either have surgery with Dr. Richard Bartlett right in Brookline Massachusetts, who I've already met with, or Dr. Charles Garramone in Davie, Florida. I recently have been looking into Dr. Daniel A. Medalie in Cleveland, Ohio as an option.

So this is my page for me to track my own savings, and also to accept donations from those who are willing and able to. Every dollar really counts and it would mean the world to me, but please in no way feel obligated, I am not begging for your donations.
