We are raising funds for our friend and coworker, June, who lost everything in a home fire in the early morning hours of Thursday, February 13, 2014. She escaped with her life and her 3 dogs. She is devistated and heartbroken at the loss of her sweet cat.
June is a special person! She makes our office a better place to work with her smile, grace & compassion. She is the kindest person I know!
June needs everything!! The Red Cross secured a hotel room for 4 nights and it appears that her insurance company is working to locate an apartment for temporary housing until they have a timeline on rebuilding her home. She learned today that she will still have to cover any/all deposits for the apartment. Her 3 dogs are at the Vet until she gets into temporary housing and that bill is growing every day. As of now she has one outfit and one pair of shoes. The funds we collect will help June purchase clothes, shoes, deposits and basic necessities. If you are in Jacksonville and have clothes or shoes to donate, please message me and I can provide you with sizes. At some point she will need other items as well, so we will keep the "Wish List" updated.
Our company has begun collecting checks/cash in our office, however employees have requested an option to pay online. In addition, employees have friends and family who would also like to participate. We can't replace her memories, but together we can help get June back on her feet!
