2014 Worlds In South Africa!

I debated doing a fund me page for quite some time now. I feel like when you choose to do a fringe sport you take on the burden of saving money and competing on your own dime. However, when you get called to represent Team USA at the Raw world championships in Johannesburg, South Africa, you realize that traveling outside the US may be outside the realm of the budget with such a crunched timeframe (Meet is in June). 

I've been lifting and putting in work since the young age of 17, after a few bodybuilding shows, college and starting a family I decided it was time to reignite that competitive fire again, but this time via powerlifting.  It has been an amazing two years with ups and downs but I would not change a thing...I LOVE THIS SPORT and the PL family I have met doing it. I'm proud to say I've done this all while working, raising my kids and DRUG FREE.  Nothing worth having comes easy and I'm proud I haven't had to compromise who I am to get where I want to be. 

It would be such an honor to compete alongside the best in the world and show people that you can work, be a mom AND be strong (both inside and out).

The meet that qualified me not only for the Arnold Sports Festival but also Worlds; made even more special because I was competing with an injury and I stuck it out and finished the meet.
