We lost our beloved Antonio last night who was 80 years young. Taken suddenely and unexpectedly he passed around 9pm pst on November 22, 2017. He was an amazing Father, husband, son, uncle, cousin, friend, mentor and colleague to many.
Antonio had many loved ones. He was a Father to 8 children and Grandfather to 12 grand children and 9 great grand children who he loved very dearly. He was a great husband and best friend to my Mother who he adored. He was a brother of 2 siblings as well as an uncle and cousin to many who he loved so much. He was a friend to an infinite number of people and he always knew someone wherever he went. I can confindentaly say that everyone loved this man.
Antonio lived life to the fullest and lived life on his own terms. He enjoyed so many joys that life has to offer including but not limited to travel, jumping out of planes while in the service, golf, tennis, skiing, painting, walking his 'babies', eating menudo and enjoying a cold Corona after a long day at work. His creativity was inspirational. If you knew him, you knew he was a great hair stylist. He also explored oil on canvas later in life and the pieces he created were truly unique. The world lost a talented man yesterday.
I'd like to thank everyone for the immense outpour of thoughts, prayers, texts, calls and offerings to help during this sensitive time. Many have asked if they can help in any way. I have created this Go Fund Me page for Antonio's memorial expenses. His wishes were to be cremated so there will not be a traditional funeral. We will however, have a memorial service followed by reception in January. Date and time TBD however, all will be informed and invited. If you would like to help, you may dontate. No pressure as times are tough however, any little bit counts.
Antonio Joseph Garcia will never be forgotten. He will always be loved and will hold a special place in all of our hearts.
