EDIT-  Mama ended up having to get on continuous kidney dialysis, and we think just from that, she has made huge improvements, awake, alert, can mouth words to us, and we think it’s a but we still have a LONG way to go, here in ICU, then we will be in step down, then lots of rehab. We are still struggling with finances, because there’s days my dad is needed up at the hospital which affects his pay. Plus to at least get something other than snacks to eat everyday (which I could) but a warm meal a few times a week wouldn’t hurt.  Also, gas back and forth gets pricey. I know times are tough for everyone. But any little amount would help and be much appreciated. Thanks again!

Hi, I’m Jennifer, Judy’s daughter. I didn’t want it to come down to this, but we have no idea how long we will be in the hospital.

Judy was scheduled Jan. 28th for her original surgery on her belly to close her ventral hernia up. Things were going great until they weren’t. She has had multiple surgeries (4) in two weeks. She is still in ICU, week 3 (today). They are still trying to wean her off sedation and the ventilator.

My family is just struggling a little with gas back and forth, parking in the parking deck, and food during the week while staying at the hospital 24/7. This was all so unexpected and it's just taken a huge toll on my dad, sister, and myself. We are not ones to ask for money, but my mom was the one that took care of everything money-wise and now we’re all so confused. If you find it in your heart to donate or share too, THANK YOU!
