See these four beautiful girls at this orphanage in Arusha Tanzania? An orphanage took them in as infants, but at 3 years old, because of their age, they were given up again. The orphanage my family founded, called Small Steps For Compassion, is their new home. Here they will be cared for and loved until they are ready to be on their own. So what I am trying to do is raise money for these precious girls, money for them to have food, clean clothes and a cozy bed to crawl into at night. You know, the basic things that WE All take for granted everyday. I’ll be traveling with family and friends from March 6th – 16th to help resupply and assess these needs. You know, we also take family for granted. So for the short 10 days of our trip, I will have the chance to be part of their family. I have an opportunity to be able to show them love and affection and give them an endless amount of hugs and kisses they crave. But that’s not all we will be doing, we are currently in the middle of building our second home on this property. So our group will be assisting in whatever is needed by the builders and making connections with our neighboring families in this community that Small Steps for Compassion serves. Since you are my friend, and I only keep good friends, I’m sure you will want to help me help them.
