Help Jim Bush Recover From Electrocution

On 11-12-13, our dear friend, Jim Bush wanted to do me a favor. I was organizing a hiking event to raise money for Parkinson's research, and needed volunteers. Jim was the first person to raise his hand and offer to help, and he did so out of the kindness of his heart - just like he always does. It was pitch dark, and 5:00 am. Jim was helping to set up an antenna so that people could communicate better during the event, when the unbelievable happened: there was a huge thunder sound, the sky lit up in bright red, and then everything went dark and quiet. In the darkness, a nearby power line arched to the antenna, and an estimated 92,000 volts of electricity went through Jim's hands and body, and out his right foot (article). He was airlifted to a burn center, where he has spent the majority of the past 3 months. He has had 9 surgeries to-date, and another one is scheduled later this month. This is still a potential life threatening situation, and the doctors are doing everything they can to save his foot. He is in constant pain, and the stress of the financial aspect of this accident is overwhelming to both him and his wife, Charleen.

Jim Bush is the kind of man who would literally give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. I mean... literally. He is kind, silly, charismatic, loving, and helpful. He is the kind of person that everyone hopes they can know sometime in their lifetime. Jim and Charleen are struggling financially right now - every part of his recovery costs so much. All they can do at this point is just sit back and wait for a miracle. If every person that reads this could donate something, we could help change the life of one of the good guys.
