Help Learn Discover Volunteer Trip

This Go Fund Me account is meant to raise money for the pre-medical volunteer placement I will be going on in July of 2014. Last year, with the donations given to volunteers, we were able to raise $135 000 to build 21 houses for 21 families in need in the village of Camarones, Ecuador. My goal this year is to raise 3000.00 dollars towards the volunteer experience. 100% of proceeds of the first 2000.00 dollars will go to building houses in the community and the remaining 1000.00 is a personal goal to help me get to the community and actually build the houses! Along with building houses and interacting with the community, the pre-med program allows us volunteers to help in hospitals lacking in professional hands, scrub into surgeries and learn skills to bring to the medical field in the future. Donating to this cause, even a dollar, will help so many families in need who do not have the luxuries available to us.
