Join The Fight With Rachel

Donation protected
For everyone that has been following Rachel's story, you all know she has been dealing with the biggest fight of her life since April 2019 with cancer. On Monday, January 11, 2021 Rachel was moved onto hospice. She fought so hard for so long. After the cancer started to spread, treatments got more intense and her body could no longer keep fighting the way we all would have hoped and dreamed. Still to this day, Rachel is sharing her infectious laugh and smile. She will still sit there and tell you she is feeling good and okay when deep down we know she is completely exhausted and just wants to be better. Right now, Rachel and her family need a miracle. We want Rachel to be able to grow old and watch Raelynn and Kayden grow up and start families of their own. We want Rachel to be able to enjoy the sunlight on her face without having any ounce of pain. We simply just want Rachel to stay on this earth with us for the rest of our lives.

While God may have another plan for her, we are doing what we can to make things as easy and possible for her, Raelynn, Kayden, and Nate. Raelynn and Kayden are going to be under the care of Rachel's sister Rebecca and she will assist with everything that she can.

While Rachel is still here with us, we are still asking for all of your thoughts and prayers for Rachel. We want a miracle to happen. And for those of you that have not heard or read about Rachel's story, you may do so by reading the story below. Thank you everyone for all the thoughts, prayers, and donations that you all have made!

*How Rachel's Story Begins*

On April 10, 2019 Rachel finally went in to be seen for a cough and not being able to breath very well. Later that evening, she was admitted into the Bryan East hospital after going and receiving a chest x-ray ordered from her doctor. After what she thought was bronchitis or pneumonia, on the morning of April 11, 2019 Rachel received the news that she has Breast Cancer. Less than a week later, it was revealed that  she has Stage 4 breast cancer, that has spread to her lung and lymph nodes. Rachel is truly one of a kind. She always knows how to brighten your darkest days, and is the person that you can always run to when you simply just need a hand to hold, a hug, or a simple smile.

Rachel and Nate have 2 children at home. Raelynn 9 and Kayden 8, along with 2 pups that go crazy without her. Their world has completely flipped upside down. Nate has been trying to pick up the pieces the best that he can.

Rachel works as a manager at Toast in the Fallbrook area of Lincoln, Nebraska. Since finding out the news, she has not been able to work and has already been admitted to the hospital on 2 separate occasions.  Any money donated will go to Rachel's medical bills and her treatments. This is the beginning of her fight, and with your help she will not fight alone.
