Bre's Back to Life Campaign
I decided to start a campaign because I was in a car accident 2 ½ years ago and the person that ran a red light and hit me refuses to accept responsibility for this accident, therefore we have not settled yet.
I need this money to get a nerve block in my spine. It was supposed to be a 2 part procedure, one in the joints and one in the injured nerve. I have the first nerve block on lien along with other medical bills, which are too high to put the other procedure on lien too. That is how I ended up here. Hopefully through the generosity of family, friends, and friends of friends I am able to raise the money I need to get this procedure.
If you already started following me, yes I changed my story. My original story was much too long, even I didn't want to read all that. So I decided to shorten it and tell the details through updates and pics. Here are a few of the details from the original posting.
After the accident I was referred to Physical Therapy, a Chiropractor and a pain clinic. The doctor at that clinic wasn't treating me the way I believed would be the most beneficial to my recovery, so I switched doctors. The new Pain doctor is a leader in an "experimental treatment" called PRP. 2 reasons why I just couldn't start that treatment. #1: since it's considered experimental (even though Europe has been using PRP for over 20 years) so insurance does not cover the treatment. #2 I returned to the doctor to get the cash price for the 2nd nerve block. Since I originally came there for PRP and since I'm no longer on lien I can get the treatment I came there for since its cheaper and will actually work better. However, I started breaking out in a rash over my upper body, so my primary doctor stopped that treatment, taking me back to the nerve block.
Please continue to follow me through this process as I return to the doctor since my primary care now believes the rash is stress related not an allergy to the supplements I needed to take for the PRP to be successful; I will also be making updates about what PRP is and why I chose it, also living with chronic pain, of course pics of the jewelry I am sending as gifts.
Please repost my story on your page and help me raise the money I need to get "Back to Life," and get out of bed.
Thank you for your generous donatio
