Robotic Legends - Education, Inspiration, Fun!
Founded in 2018, our primary mission is to create and nurture a diverse hobbyist community of all ages; sharing a passion for learning and building robots of all kinds. We inspire each other, share knowledge, work on group projects, and participate in robotics events and competitions. (There is nothing quite like winning your first bot fight!)
Our goal in 2019 is to raise funds to finance tools, materials, and event travel for current members as well as build infrastructure to expand membership for more creative minds!

As for why we do it, let us start with a brief journey down memory lane… When I was young, I didn’t have many friends so imagination was my faithful companion. We took journeys each day; building whole landscapes from cardboard and epic machines from paper and mailing labels. Adventures were never ending and I learned the joy of taking ideas and making them real. As I’ve grown, the raw materials have changed but that joy and hunger to create remains.
I am a builder and proud of it! Even better, I realized there are so many other builders out there with the same drive.
Fast forward to current day and we see inspiring technology everywhere. One field rapidly expanding is that of robotics engineering. In the United States, there are some programs and initiatives that promote robotics education; such as STEM. However, these programs are often broad in scope (math and science) and narrow in their audience (middle school to college students). There is a wide gap for those who want to learn, build, and establish friendships in the hobby robotics community. This is where Robotic Legends Organization comes in!
