Around two weeks ago we received devastating news about my brother’s health. After nearly two years of fighting cancer on and off, he is now battling germ cell cancer, MDS, HLH, and NK cell leukemia. The doctors told us his survival rate is not great — and that with or without treatment he probably wouldn’t be with us for his birthday. His one wish was to be home for his birthday, and we are honoring that wish. He is our everything and we are not giving up on him but we are also choosing what makes him happy.
