Some of you may be familiar with my history of international travel and exploring other cultures; the world has been my higher education. Most recently through playing and watching rugby, New Zealand has captured my heart and given me the travel bug that has been dormant for the last few years.
Late last year I applied for an international exchange program work visa for New Zealand, and among other things, the program requires a "safety net" (they want to make sure I can support myself) of over $4,000 in a verifiable bank account by mid-March. Since the restaurant closed suddenly in December the savings I had set aside for this trip has been significantly depleted. After the visa application process, fees, plane ticket, travel insurance, etc I am in danger of not realizing this amazing trip I have been planning for over two years.
Any little bit you can help would be truly appreciated, I will keep you all up to date with a blog documenting my adventures as they happen.
Thanks for your support,
