Shiv's efforts for Kallahalli Orphanage
Hi All!
In 2011, I moved to India to work in an International school. Standard procedure: nice apartment, magnificent school campus, good pay; however, that wasn't anything to shout about. The one thing that I took away from my life in India, was the memory of the beautiful children in a nearby orphanage that I visited during my spare time. Despite doing other charity work since, my mind always drifts back to them. I have now decided that I will make a long-term commitment to helping them and returning whenever I can.
These adorable youngsters had a huge impact on my life perspective. They live well below the poverty line, but still, they have a zest for life. They sleep, eat and play inside four concrete walls, but still, they appreciate the very little that they have. Unfortunately, aid is very limited; this is not a registered international charity, so I am trying to raise whatever I can in order to provide them with supplies that would make their lives dramatically easier.
I revsited the orphange in February to tell them about my skydive venture and that I was going to conquer a fear to help to raise funds. On the 7th March, I completed the jump - here is the video link:

To those of you who can afford to donate to me, thank you. Anything you can give is gratefully received.
Thank you, Shiv
