Please Help.. Dad Needs Liver Treatment

Our Dad, John, is in stage III of liver failure. The needed treatment is $1,000.00 per day for 48 weeks. After insurance, he will be responsible for paying $60,000.00. He is no longer able to work and him and our step mom are relying solely on her income.


The treatment he needs is at UW Medical Center and has a 100% cure rate, however, he is on a waiting list for a liver transplant in case there are any complications.


Our dad has always lived a healthy lifestyle and does not drink alcohol. He contracted a virus during routine shots upon enlisting in the navy in the 1970's, when jet injectors were used for mass vaccination.


We of course are not expecting to reach the goal of $30,000.00, we are just showing what we need to come up with, and are trying to do all we can to help our dad. They can't pay the $60,000.00 on their own, so we want to be able to help them with half. In addition to our monthly contributions, we are hoping the donations will help us come close to our goal.
