Home & Animals Lost-PLEASE HELP

I never thought I'd find myself in a position of owning nothing but the clothes I had put on that morning and my vehicle. Well that is exactly what happened to me the morning my home, I was purchasing on a rent to own basis, was destroyed by an electrical fire. Along with all my belongings, I lost several pets including dogs, cats, and 2 wonderful guinea pigs. Due to a misunderstanding from the previous year, at the time my landlord refinanced my home to reduce her mortage payment, I was uninsured for the contents in my home.
People have been wonderful offering to help with clothing and food but I still have not found a place to live and am living with various friends on a day by day basis. I am employed and trying to help myself to rebound from this tragedy but find myself in a position of asking anyone who has ever been in this position to help me to get back on my feet and once again have a roof over my head and a place to call home.
