6th Avenue Auto; Fire Loss

Donation protected
On Tuesday, July 17, 2018, 6th Avenue Auto became victim to a fire that started in a vehicle that was inside the shop. Fortunately, emergency response teams were promptly on scene to extinguish the flames and make their best attempt to save the business structure and prevent any further damages and losses from the flames.

The damage that lingers has been more destructive than the actual fire itself; smoke damage, shattered glass from bay doors, a gaping hole in the roof, vehicles claimed as total losses, and a tremendous amount of water damage.

The most valuable thing that has been damaged as a result is a small business that has had blood, sweat, and tears poured into it by the owner (Rob), his lead tech (Aaron), and a few other members of their team.

Running a small business is a task; sustaining and maintaining a successful small business is more than a task, it’s a world of its own.

This gofundme page has been thoughtfully created to hopefully grant the ability to shed light on a disheartening occurrence— the next several weeks will be consumed by the daunting task of recovering and restoring our neighborhood repair facility.

The dedication, commitment, heart, and soul that Rob has invested in his family, friends, co-workers, and his business, are that of a genuine and respectable individual. With the help from those that Rob has had an impact on throughout the years, recovering from this fire WILL be possible!
