our story begins in 2003 when we met an amazing couple that not only became our friends but our family as well. we saw their family grow as they did ours. needless to say, even though we are caught up in our own families and lives we have maintained an amazing relationship throughout the years. we have seen how hard working elisa and carlos are and how they went though one thing after another more so than other couples. it still amazes us how they keep fighting and pulling through every curve ball life throws at them. even when they are going through rough times they never show it. 2 weeks ago we found out elisa has a brain tumor 2 1/2 centimeters large. the neurologists have said surgery is a must although surgery comes with consequences. best case scenario she will be deaf in the left ear and have facial paralysis. worst case she will get an infection and not make it. this is where helping, healing, caring come in. even though elisa has insurance, co-payments are still expensive and will be adding up. carlos will be the only one providing for their 4 children, mortgage and everyday expenses along with medical bills. we know this is going to be very difficult on carlos and want to do whatever we can to help. if their is anything you can do to help the family, our family, we would appreciate it beyond words. we want to ease some of the pressure of the financial burden so elisa can focus on recovery with carlos by her side. we believe in miracles and we know god is going to grant this wonderful family one. thank you for your support.
